She points out that people are good at setting vague goals like being the best. In personal training I ran across folks who wanted to get "fit" whatever that means.
We discuss outcome goals being typically of a competitive nature. How performance goals are about standards of performance like improving running speed or power output. Process goals are about how to achieve the other goals on a daily basis like execution of skills.
